Excelcomindo Pratama (XL) decided upon the tariff of 0,01 rupiah for call and message service, as well as genetnl packet radio service (GPRS) connection for their pre-paid customers. In addition, XL also provided value added service (VAS) such as XL Fun Book, XL Yahoo! Zone and XL Location based Service (LBS). Similarly, Indosat also launched Obral Obrol promotion program in early of June. The program set the tariff of 1.000 rupiah for an hour call. Obral Obrol could be accessed by Mentari and IM3 customers.
