Telkom is uninterested in buying Elnusa’s shares in Patra: an Oil and Gas company sells its subsidiary

PT Elnusa Indonesia Tbk wishes to sell its subsidiary, PT Patra Telekomunikasi Indonesia to PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom). The company tries for diversification to help it focus on the operation of oil and gas services. Managing Director Telkom Rinaldi Firmansyah, however, said that his company is not interested in buying the shares of PT Elnusa. “We are not interested for we already have a subsidiary in the industry of VSAT (satellite based network provider)”, he said on Sunday (6/7) / Koran Jakarta, pg 11
