Expro Accept BlackBerry Insurance

Extra Proteksi Indonesia (Expro), the company that provided insurance for cellular phone, was ready to provide damage protection to BlackBerry users. The protection only applied for BlackBerry products bought in authorized operators, such as Telkomsel, Indosat, and XL; while those bought in black market was not the subject of the protection. Expro Managing Director Amir Hamzah, in Jakarta, Saturday (6/5) stated that the insurance would be given for damages due to water soaked or fallen, as well as for loss due to robbery. Expro provided two kinds of compensation rate, 3% of purchasing price for Expro First packet and 75 - 200 thousand rupiah for Expro Next packet. / Investor Daily, pg 24
