Full support from operators (13/7)

Operators lend full support to the demand from the government that the Research In Motion (RIM) establish its after sales service in Indonesia. The Managing Director of Telkomsel Sarwoto Atmosutarno said the company supports the law enactment from the government. He is concerned, however, that the act should not put a halt to the BlackBerry service to the customers. The General Manager of Corporate Communications of PT Excelcomindo Myra Junor added that the demand from the government that RIM establishes its service center in Indonesia is a warranted demand, considering the staggering number of Blackberry users in Indonesia. / Republika, pg 25
