INDOSAT - Reshuffle raises question over state interests

The governments diminishing control over what was once Indonesia’s strategic asset, was reaffirmed Thursday after a reshuffle of the PT Indosat board of directors. A special shareholder meeting Thursday approved a proposal from the largest stakeholder in the company, Qatar Telecom (QTel), to replace top executives one year earlier than stipulated in the initial contract.
