Icon+ Set Very Low Bidding Price for USO

Icon+ set bidding price 80% lower than biding price ceiling (HPS) for universal service obligation (USO) packet 1 for 2009 budget year. Santoso Serad, the Chairman of Rural Telecommunication and Information Agency (BTIP) stated that he asked Icon+ to increase the price in the packet despite the fact that the tender applied mechanism of direct election. The low bidding price proposed by Icon+ had been contradictory with Telkom and Telkomsel's argument that the ceiling bidding price of USO for both packets was too low.
